Owners, James and Allie Martin, treat every client like they are a member of the family.

Background

James is a third-generation home remodeler. He started working in his father’s business in 1996 as a carpenter’s helper and learned the business from the ground up. He and Allie married in 2001 after she earned a degree in Business from TCU. In 2003, they established J. Martin Company and have served the Keller and surrounding areas since. James does all of the in-home estimates and coordinates the specialized trades involved in remodeling each project. He serves as the production manager and main point of contact for every project. Allie works in the office scheduling appointments, placing and coordinating orders, billing, and book keeping.

Why Choose Us

Remodeling involves the coordination of many specialized trades including carpenters, cabinet makers, countertop installers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, concrete, framing, roofing, etc. We use the same sub-contractors on all of our jobs as opposed to bidding it out and awarding it to the lowest bidder. We carefully vet and personally know each person we bring into your home. Our long standing relationships with our sub-contractors show the value we place on relationships and quality workmanship.

Our Process

Step 1 - In-Home Consultation

We provide turn-key remodeling and the first step is an in-home consultation.

Step 3 - Product Selection

You’ll met with our vendors and make your product selections for countertops, tile, flooring, sink, faucets, fixtures, etc.

Step 5 - Contract

Our contracts include a detailed scope of work and payment draw schedule that is based on milestone completions.

Step 2 - Estimate

We provide you with an estimate that includes a generous product allowance that you use as a guide when making product selections and our wholesale vendors who offer free design services.

Step 4 - Updated Estimate

We update your estimate to reflect the actual prices of your product selections and present you with a contract.

Step 6 - Close & Schedule

Contract is signed and first payment is due. Then we order your products and schedule your start date to coincide with your product delivery. We schedule demo once products are on site so that we can keep your project moving efficiently and complete your project in a timely manner.
